Charitable giving on the decline in the UK?

Approximately 63 percent of people in England said that they gave to charity in 2021, compared with 82 percent in 2013/14. In the provided time period, the share of people giving to charity gradually declined to 77 percent in 2014/15, to 76 percent in 2015/16 before reaching 75 percent between 2016 and 2020.
